Questions
Do employees need an account or an app?
No. Admins add people to the directory, and they sign in by tapping their name on the kiosk. If your building turns on PINs, each person creates their own four-digit PIN the first time they sign in. Admins can reset a PIN, but never see one.
What happens when someone forgets to sign out?
Lobbi closes the visit at the time you set and marks it “Auto signed out”, so you can tell it apart from a real departure.
Who can see our visitor records?
Only the admins you add, signing in with Google or Apple. The kiosk shows what’s needed to sign in and out; the full history stays in the admin console.
How is our data secured?
Lobbi runs on Amazon Web Services in the US, encrypted in transit and at rest, with continuous backups. Each building’s records are kept apart from every other’s, and each iPad has its own key an admin can revoke. Delete your building account and its records go with it.
What hardware do I need?
Any iPad that runs iPadOS 16 or later, in either orientation: an iPad from 2017 on, an iPad mini 5 or later, or any iPad Pro. Any stand or wall mount that holds it will do.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. Export any date range as a CSV from the console whenever you need it, even after a trial ends or a subscription stops.
We have more than one building.
